Errol Flynn was Hollywoods brightest star. His legendary films, Captain Blood, The Adventures of Robin Hood, The Sea Hawk and Adventures of Don Juan are rightly regarded as cinematic classics, a breath-taking blend of action, adventure and romance. To many of us, Errol was so much more than just a swashbuckler, he gave some wonderful and touching performances in several other great films; Objective Burma; Too Much Too Soon; The Dawn Patrol; The Big Boodle; Roots of Heaven; and his heart-breaking portrayal of the alcoholic Mike Campbell in Hemingway's The Sun Also Rises. These films offer the proof that Errol was an actor of awesome stature which is tragically over-looked by many.
Errol's private life was so awe-inspiringly diverse that to just scratch the surface of it will take years of discussion.
