This is an extremely sad day for me, I have to announce that I have no choice but to close down "The Official Bob Crane Club."

My health has been deteriorating rapidly and I physically cannot take the daily pressures associated with these clubs - in combination with the tremendous stress caused by the upcoming movie. Frankly, I need as much peace and quiet as possible in this tumultuous period of my life. My physical and emotional well being depend on it.

I have made many great new friends here and I want to thank you for the outpouring of support you have given me and my family.

A very special and heartfelt thank you goes out to Lisa, without her support and encouragement this club would never have come into existence.

I feel I've accomplished my goal of informing all our members of the truth about Bob's and my life and relationship. The rumors have been proven to be just that.

I owe a great deal to all those who actually worked on Bob's case from day one until today.

Special thanks go to Capt. Barry Vassall, without whose help and dedication I could not have gotten the contacts and information needed to quash the rumors and lies.

To the members, you are all so special, amazing, and wonderful, I will truly miss our daily chats and I hope our friendship continues to grow.
