"slipped trough the cracks" you used.

Sadly, Olive seems to have 'slipped through the cracks' in terms
of getting any notice by biographers and scholars of the stage
and screen. Maybe She didn't last long enough in one place to
have made a historical impact (like her sister-in-law Mary) and
unlike, say Louise Brooks who did have about as short a career
didn't have a 'look' iconic enough to transcend occupational
brevity to reach 'cult' status (it helped that Louis Brooks had lived
long enough to be 'rediscovered' and had the literary skills to
nurture a lasting public image). For most of the world, Olive lived,
was beautiful and died tragically young...
The Kenneth Anger book 'Hollywood Babylon' does devote his
first chapter of stories on Olive Thomas. There are factual errors
and such but there are a few nice pictures (all of them posted
here by the way). Hollywood Babylon does appear on E-bay from
time to time. Other books out there do make some mention of
Olive in passing but no-one has yet decided to give Olive the
biographical treatment she deserves.

Lists a wealth of Olive's press clippings with photgraphs. The
text was 'borrowed' from the Taylorology Pages...

and the pix were taken from another page...
