I have posted in my photo album a shot of four girls from the 1916
Frolic and the border collies they worked with. Here is what the
reviewer of the New York Times had to say about the number on October
4, 1916:

" One of the best chorus numbers is participated in by a quartet of
lovely collie dogs that skip rope with girls in rompers and try to
elude the kiddy-kars propelled by others of the chorus."

I ran out of space to list the full name of the last performer. She is
Katherine Daly, not Dal.
