Haley Joel Osment was born on April 10, 1988 in Los Angeles, California to his mother Theresa and father Eugene Osment.
Haley was discovered in a local Ikea store with his mother, Theresa Osment in 1992 by a child's agent. Haley's first role was in a Pizza Hut commercial. Then in 1994, he starred as little Forrest Jr. in the hit movie Forrest Gump with Tom Hanks. Haley also made many television appearances and a few television movies too.

In 1999, Haley's big break was starring in "The Sixth Sense" with Bruce Willis. Haley marveously played Cole Sear, a boy who could see dead people and he made the part so believable and everyone that had seen the film felt sorry for him. Haley Joel Osment was nominated in 1999 for best supporting actor in that film which was well deserved for the 11-year old actor. Within the next year, Haley made another feature film "Pay It Forward" Whom he plays Trevor McKinney, a 7th grader trying to change the world. Also starring Helen Hunt and Kevin Spacey. Released in 2001, directed by Steven Spielberg, Artificial Intelligence came to theaters. Haley plays a robot give the name David and is created to love. In 2002, Hunchback of Notre Dame 2, Country Bears, and the Jungle Book 2 came out. Which Haley also had a role in too only he did voice overs since it they were all fun animation films.
