LAKESHORE RECORDS TO RELEASE ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK FOR GAMER

Soundtrack Features Music From Composers Geoff Zanelli and Robert Williamson

(August 27, 2009- Los Angeles, CA) – Lakeshore Records will release the original
soundtrack for GAMER, available digitally (iTunes and Amazon Digital) on
September 1, 2009 and in stores on September 8, 2009.  Composers Geoff Zanelli
(DISTURBIA, HITMAN) and Robert Williamson (PATHOLOGY, THE MIDNIGHT MEAT TRAIN)
wrote the original score.   The soundtrack also features Marilyn Manson "Sweet
Dreams (Are Made of This)," Bloodhound Gang "The Bad Touch," and Sammy Davis Jr.
"Medley: I've Got You Under My Skin/Big Bad John/Night and Day."

Composer Geoff Zanelli is known for his versatility, often combining music from
different genres and cultures to produce an original, contemporary result.  He
brings with him a formidable combination of composition skills, production
technique, and love of all kinds of music. In 1994, Hans Zimmer recognized
Zanelli as a promising young talent, and invited him to L.A. to join his group
of extraordinary film music talent.

Throughout the following years he would build the foundation for his scoring
career, being called on to compose with John Powell, Hans Zimmer, Harry
Gregson-Williams and Steve Jablonsky on numerous feature films.  The composing
experience Zanelli accrued while collaborating with such industry luminaries
prepared him for a kinetic start to his solo career.  One of his earliest solo
works, Steven Spielberg's miniseries INTO THE WEST, earned him an Emmy.  
Showcasing his versatility, in just over one year Zanelli scored the films
DISTURBIA, HITMAN, OUTLANDER, DELGO, and GHOST TOWN.   He is currently scoring
THE PACIFIC, which marks his 2nd role scoring a Spielberg miniseries.

Co-Composer Robert Williamson got his start in music playing bass in various
bands in Seattle in the mid 90's sharing bills with bands like Nirvana and
Soundgarden.  He became infatuated with electronic music and started Eat
Knowledge recordings. In 2000 Robert wrote the script for the movie DANDELION
and as the movie reached final stages of editing he decided to score it as well.
The film debuted at Sundance in 2004.  He went on to score the film THE YOUTH IN
US, a series for MTV, contributed songs to UNDERWORLD EVOLUTION, wrote original
music for a documentary about Hurricane Katrina with director and R.E.M front
man Michael Stipe, contributed additional score for the film CRANK and
co-composed the score for PATHOLOGY and THE MIDNIGHT MEAT TRAIN.

GAMER is a high-concept thriller set in the near future, a time when
mind-control technology has taken society by storm.  Humans control other humans
in a mass-scale, multiplayer online game.  Reclusive billionaire Ken Castle
(Michael C. Hall) has created the controversial form of entertainment,
"Slayers," a hugely popular game that allows one to act out their innermost
desires and fantasies - online - and in front of a global audience.  Gaming has
evolved into a terrifying new dimension … mind control … manipulation … people
playing people.

At the center is Kable (300's Gerard Butler), the superstar and cult hero of
"Slayers," the savage, ultraviolent first person shooter game.  Kable is
controlled by Simon, a young gamer with rock star status who continues to defy
all odds by guiding Kable to victory each week.  Taken from his family,
imprisoned and forced to fight against his will, the modern day gladiator must
survive long enough to escape the game to free his family, regain his identity
and to save mankind from Castle's ruthless technology.

Lionsgate Films and Lakeshore Entertainment presents GAMER released nationwide
on September 4, 2009.  GAMER original soundtrack on Lakeshore Records will be
available via iTunes/Amazon Digital on September 1, 2009 and in stores on
September 8, 2009.

Hi, I wanted to thank everybody for the "get well" wishes that have been posted
to the lists over the last couple of days. The new and updated antibiotics seem
to be working on everything except for the  constant feeling of the need to
sleep, which apparently seems to be wearing off little by little more each day.
I DID go to work today, and it went fairly well. I WAS sent home early, but it
was because we were not busy. But I really believe that if I was not sent home
early, I COULD have pulled through to the end of the shift. I was tired when I
got home, but for some reason, I can not seem to sleep right now. I also had
trouble getting to sleep last night. So maybe the symptoms are starting to go
away. I am, however aware that I am still supposed to remain on the antibiotics
until the doctor tells me otherwise. But I am feeling MUCH better today. I get
tomorrow off of work, but then I work Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, and get
Saturday and Sunday off. I will not know my schedule for next week until at
least Thursday or Friday. I plan to take things just one day at a time. But I
wanted to thank you all for your "get well" wishes, and let you know how I was
doing. I plan to be on my computer for at least 20 minutes a day at least every
other day until I am completely over this. Talk to you al later. I am heading
off to bed now.

Okay, as much as I like Gerry, I now kind of have to stick up for Tom. I
have actually MET Tom. It was at a science fiction convention in Denver.
They were promotiing Interview with the Vampire. I walked up to Tom, and he
was VERY respectful(seeing as I am disabled and do NOT get a lot of respect
from people as a result, INCLUDING my immediate family. Tom does not
discriminate!!! But I have no reason to believe Gerry does either). I have
NEVER met Gerry, but I would LOVE to!!!! I believe EVERYTHING evrybody says
about him. If you would like to trash a male celebrity....why not do it to a
REAL egotistical maniac...WILLIAM SHATNER!!! I will support ANYONE who does
that. I have met him as well.

than Tom could ever hope to have.  And as far as looks go, Tom

At last I bought my own domain and I've made a new Phantom site.
It's not completely finished, but it's almost done.
It has two parts: original story/History and musicals/books/movies
part.

Hi evrybody, I just thought I would let you know I started a new Yahoo group for
all you GB fans. I got this idea from a couple of my Star Trek lists (yes I'm a
Trekkie too). A few of the male Trek celebrities I know of have Yahoo groups
called "Estrogen Brigades". For example: Dominic Keating ( Malcolm Reed, Star
Trek: Enterprise) has one called the Dominic Keating Estrogen Brigade (DKEB).
Well, I thought why shouldn't Gerry have one? So I got one started at Yahoo
Groups. Last time I started one, it took a couple of days for it to kick in and
become "official" with Yahoo Groups. So for now, if you would like to join, you
could try going to gb_estrogen_brigade-subscribe@yahoogroups.com. Or you could
wait a couple of days, and go to Yahoo Groups, and when given the option to
enter a subject to find a group, type in Gerry Butler and see if you can find it
that way. The group will be listed as Gerry Butler Estrogen Brigade. This is for
ladies only, for as I recall, men don't have estrogen. Anyone is welcome to
join.
