One thing I neglected just now, is that I myself tried to alleviate
that exact problem by following the example of a Star Trek rpg I am a
part of. In which players may continue to advance the plot by writing
for other characters in their posts. When they do, if the character's
owner takes exception to something the person wrote, then it is
altered or the post is declared void.
My attempts seem to have lasted, looking back, for about a day and a
half before everyone decided that my ideas weren't worth trying out.
So, you can maybe see why I'm a little sensitive about this.
