OOC: Holy shit people, it's postin' time! XD ALL the RPGs I'm in are
in a slump right now, so I'm going through posting withdrawl! If no
one replies to this I'll kill you all in your sleep!

IC: (in the last post, Aithne had emerged from the back room of the
vet clinic, only to find herself in a room filled to the brim with
doggies. she was not pleased.)

With her tail almost erect and hackles raised, Aithne strode stiffly
into the room, sizing up her new surroundings. The first thing she
noticed, apart from the dogs, was the fire, and her ears flattened
against her skull. The fire crackling inside seemed horribly
unnatural, and she almost expected it to spread through the room.

Every dog in the room looked up; the wolf looked like some emaciated
monster, and smelled strongly of blood and waste and sickness. She
stared back at each one of them, daring them to make an agressive move.
It was plainly obvious that she was ready to fight if any dog moved
towards her too suddenly.

The wolf pulled her lips back and lowered her head. Which was worse,
the fire, or being surrounded by dogs? Filthy human-raised dogs. None
of the dogs she knew, either. Here there was no Belladonna, no Conrad,
not even those three silly beasts that pulled the sleds. They were all
strangers, not of Ember's pack.

What had become of everything she knew? The she-wolf's heart felt as
if it would crack in this changed world, where nothing was familiar
and her own body could not be trusted to withstand the effort of walking.

In that moment of pure confusion and fear, Aithne felt a deep sadness.

OOC: and then the post ended abruptly. WTF YO
