The wooden door to the police station flew open and crashed against the wall, shuddering snow violently to the ground. The sudden noise made Nathan jump at his desk, looking up to see his superior stomp inside and slam the door with equal vigour. Detective Michael Davis marched to the hatstand and hung his coat on it, clean jaw set under his trimmed moustache and the kind of air about him that could ignite flammable objects just by being nearby.

Collecting himself again, the younger police officer spoke, "No luck with Tony?" It didn't even need to be asked. Mike thumped down into his chair and scowled into his paperwork, "He's in Anataka somewhere, his team's there, but the locals are hiding something. Suspicious gatherings in the boarding house and Phillip O'Possum, you remember Phillip, is being goddamned uncooperative." There were times where the detective wished he didn't have to do things by the book. He couldn't search Phillip's room without any reason, who know what he was getting up to.

"Still no news on the dangerous dog, sir," said Nathan.

"I honestly didn't expect there to be," Mike sighed wearily. There had been no more killings or attacks since Pete had been found, and he'd been up to something, too. "We've done everything we can, Jerry's a stout sort and I'm sure he'll inform us if he finds anything out."

"Finish your report on the pit fighting," he added, picking up his quill pen and carrying on with his own. This files wouldn't write themselves. For now, they would just have to wait, and trust to the good people of Nome to come to them if something was awry.

OOC: Decided to 'reset' Mike and Nathan at the Police station for simplicity. Draiko, did you want me to get a post up for Tony as well or can I leave that in your capable hands? We need some more evil at TAB, lol. Some plot nastiness going on. This place should pick up in the summer, let's have a master plan waiting for it. :-)

Somebody with a free character, please bump into Birdy's character, Mouse, in the streets to introduce them? Or have him pace on down to the Kennels or the Vet's, Birdy, to meet some characters who are already there.
