Re: 189- Safari, Thor, Dragon & kennels - At ee Kennels

OOC: Woah...haven't been here in forever. I practically forgot all
about this RPG. Shame on me! It's late here and I was bored, so I
figured I'd post something to let others know I'm alive! hehe.

BIC: The copper mixed fae followed after Thor. Her dark hues took in
the sites about her. Seeing and smelling these familar things
reminded her so much of home and how she use to lead a large team,
such as the one Thor was leading her to. The fae wanted to run again.
Just thinking about the feeling of the snow between her pads and wind
through her thick fur made her tail wag. Her ears perked, her harness
with tags jingling with ever step she made and telling others she was
there. Safari stopped by Thor's side, resting 'pon her haunches as
she looked to the brown-furred dog who had called Thor's name. Ears
flicked at Thor's response, calling her "matey" She quirked a brow
and remained silent.

OOC: Yay Tracker, give Chris an ecker on the elbow for me, and remind
him to post for Artanis, White's ready to post after he does.
*Bobbles* And no worries, Draiko, always good when you post. :-)

> BIC: Thor laughed, a reassuring, if slightly loud, sound. "On the
nose?" he remarked, grinning broadly, "I didn't know the old
geezer 'ad such a good aim. I 'ope 'twas worth it." His thick coppery
tail wagged cheerfully as they arrived at the kennels, a large barn-
like building with plenty of spare beds of hay, several thoughtfully-
placed troughs of water and the benefit of a twice daily meal
courtesy of the local handlers. If you were a sled dog, and your
musher signed in, you were catered for pretty well here. All it
needed was a hot spot and it'd be as cosy as the boiler room.
>
> Giving a short grin back to Safari, Thor padded on into one of the
main sections, where an almost full team of dogs appeared to be
resting. Yes, these looked like good targets to mildly aggravate, he
could migrate on to the other large team here later if they didn't
prove to be very sociable. He had led Safari to Ruvan and Skyline's
team, Link's long-standing company in the adjacent partition. Hm,
looks like the lead dog's away, this should be...
>
> "Hey Thor...!"
>
> Gah! Who could that be? Stopping just inside, he hadn't gotten
further than a few feet before someone barked at him. "Hi, er..." he
expected to recognize the dog that greeted him by name, but instead
he was faced with a complete stranger, "Friend. Do I know you?" The
Husky cocked his head up at the browny-furred sled dog atop one of
the kennels. "Since you ask though," he announced, as Safari tinkled
gracefully in to join them, "This is my matey, Safari." To avoid
unnecessary confusion, he refrained from using the word 'mate', he
could do that later to confuse these layabouts. While Dragon gave his
reply, his vagrant eye roved the area, taking in the assorted
occupants in a calculating visual sweep.
