051 - Safari, Thor, open to others - Greetings

OOC: We've omplemented a title foprmat for posts here to help keep
track of IC happenings, try to stick to it. Your reply post, if nobody
posts before you, would be something like "052 - Safari, Thor -
Afternoon in the Alleyway". Syntax: # - Characters involved - Title.
Good to have you back, and to see some life in this place! *Clots
Zeki* Aithne! You can have her stumble in here, or bump into Birdy.

BIC: "Safari," mimicked Thor, jinking his head briefly as if to file
the name into memory, "Your musher must've had a taste for exotics."
The Husky sat and gave a friendly smile, curling his tail alongside
his haunches as the oblique noises of the town drifted over on the
air. There was a slight unease to it, but nothing alarming, the news
of the second body must not have spread far yet.

It was a cool day, early spring in Nome, and the sun shone mildly into
half of the alleyway where the two dogs conversed, giving a slight
sheen to their pelts and giving the fur depth. The copper-coloured
sled dog looked back down from the pale blue sky and chuckled, "Cheers
for the offer, but I just ate. Me an' a friend hit the place this
morning. We could show you a better way to get yer grub, if ya likes."

Unlike the female, Thor had no tags or spangles, merely a plain but
broad leather collar with 'THOR' etched into it in black. He was easy
going and seemed amiable enough, though oft it was that a mischiefious
sparkle came to his eyes, and the telltale swish of his rusty tail
would indicate to those that knew him that he was cooking up some
tricksy game or another.

"Care to join us?" he asked, gesturing his nose in Safari's direction
briefly, "We'd be glad of the company." He couldn't help but wag his
tail; ever since that monster of a black canid and his mate, the
slender southern dog, had let him out of his pen earlier, the day was
turning out rather well.

-John
