WHO:             RL Productions was founded by a local Tampa actor and up-and-coming director, Rory Lawrence. Rory  has devoted his time and energy towards perfecting his skills with acting coaches such as Corinne Broskette (owner of Venue Actors Studio) and Tasha Smith (renowned actress seen in Tyler Perry’s Daddy’s Little Girls and Why Did I Get Married?). Given his personal experiences within the acting arena, Rory Lawrence aspires to create a platform that enables local actors to network with industry personnel such as independent film makers, casting directors, talent agents, and producers. The goal is to open doors for actors who are seeking additional exposure and are ready to take their careers to the next level. Additionally, RL Productions has developed a mentoring group, Acting Out, which enables local actors to discuss the industry, upcoming opportunities, and serve as a support for each other.
