THE HISTORY:

This group was founded in June of 2000 by regulars of the former USENET news group: alt.fan.mad-rmgroupers for the purpose of having a discussion group about STAR WARS collectibles/action figures/news/customizing without the hassles of auctions, trolling, flamewars, scalpers, e.t.c...

The advantage of a mail list over forums is the ability to maintain conversations without having to constantly monitor a website for updates. To avoid excessive mail, please don't respond in conversations with short, non-contributing comments like "Yeah." or "I agree."

So here is the lowdown on how business is conducted here:

1) Anything Star Wars related is on topic here, but other collecting information is also allowable.

2) Swearing / trolling / flames / flamebait will not be tolerated.

3) AUCTION posts are prohibited (unless they are for information purposes).

4) Personal FOR SALE posts are not allowed.

5) Please do not repeatedly post links to Internet Retail/Wholesale sites that a subscriber may personally own. This is not a private community for targeted advertising.

6) Members should keep their group mail settings on either "individual mail" or "daily digest".

7) This is a private forum by invite only, but if we don't invite anyone, no one will know we are here :)

8) If you would like to invite someone to join the group, and feel that they would adhere to our rules, please send the complete email address to the OWNER or one of the MODERATORS of this group with a recommendation. Subscription requests that were not recommended will be denied.

9) Violators of the rules will be corrected through email by the owner/moderators. Repeat offenders will be warned once and then banned.
