Talent Works USA, a talent directory and online database created by
local casting director Donise Hardy, C.S.A. of Casting Works LA
(www.castingworksla.com), is now opening registration for the 2005-2006
year!!!  Most of the time when an actor sends a single headshot to
someone, it costs the actor over $2 to do so, and then it is immediately
thrown away and forgotten.  Not the TALENT WORKS directory.  For only
$100, you can get your headshot onto one of the pages in our directory,
and into the hands of approximately 500 industry professionals, reducing
the cost from $2 to only $0.20 per person!  That is a HUGE savings!  And

PURPOSE:  TALENT WORKS provides Texas talent the best opportunity for
organized and maximum exposure within the entertainment industry
throughout the US and Canada by publication of a directory and a
website.  This affordable marketing tool, originated by Donise Hardy,
owner of Casting Works LA, offers the benefits of similar Hollywood
publications, but focuses exposure efforts on companies who have or will
bring projects to Texas.

CONTACTS:  The directory of talent headshots and contact information
will be used by those who seek to hire talent for film, television,
commercials and various other projects.  Producers, directors, casting
directors and production companies who have previously brought or who
plan to bring projects to Texas will receive a complimentary copy for
referencing in 2005.  Last year we received requests for copies of the
directory from “All My Children”, Warner Bros., Paramount and Disney
plus numerous requests from members of the Casting Society of America. 
Both the Texas Film Commission and the Austin Visitors & Convention
Bureau have participated by handing out the directories as well.

WHAT’S INCLUDED:  For an annual fee of $100 talent headshots will be
categorized as MALE, FEMALE, YOUNG MALE, YOUNG FEMALE and published,
along with contact information in the TALENT WORKS directory.  Included
in the fee, talent headshots, contact information, and a resume link
will be displayed on your personal web page via the TALENT WORKS website
(www.talentworks-usa.com) together with a free link to your personal
website and your agency’s website.  Additional family members: $75/each.

WHY THE WEBSITE?:  This is a furiously fast-paced business.  Even if you
already have a web presence, companies with looming deadlines often do
not have time to visit hundreds of personal sites.  With one visit, the
TALENT WORKS website provides a reputable, on-line source of the best
talent in the area, saving the client time and providing maximum
resources.  Resume outlines are provided on the website for your use
which may be updated as often as you wish!

WHAT’S NEW IN 2005?:  We have some exciting additions to the TALENT
WORKS website this year that will streamline the process for everyone. 
We have added to the database "LANGUAGES" and "SPECIAL SKILLS" which
will be searchable.  For example, if you speak a foreign language or
play a sport, i.e. soccer, baseball, etc. be sure and put that on your
on-line resume.

PHOTOS:  Professional headshots, landscape and 3/4 shots are all
accepted for submittal.  Simply provide us with a JPEG formatted version
(210 pixels wide, max; 260 pixels tall, max; thumbnails: 80 x 80; all at
72 DPI) of up to 3 different shots on disc, on CD or as an e-mail
attachment.  If submitting more than 1 shot, be sure to label each shot
as to placement: “LEFT”, “CENTER”, “RIGHT” and indicate which is also
the thumbnail.
