Mel Gibson beating off the holywood A listers   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #2993 of 11062 |
Since Icon films announced that Mel Gibson has secured
the rights to 'Stealing from Angels' by Brian
Dullaghan, Gibson has been inundated with calls from
Hollywood’s A list and their agents all wanting a part
in ‘Stealing from Angels.’

The story is about Lucia Dos Santos who in 1917 had a
series of apparitions in Fatima – Portugal. Mel
Gibson, who flew to Portugal in 2003 to meet Lucia who
died last month aged 98 said, "her story and poor
treatment by successive Pope's has long been of
concern to followers of the Catholic faith."

Dullaghan's book is causing more controversy in
Vatican City than the Passion. Mel Gibson has said
this doesn’t concern him. “Everyone should learn the
truth about what really happened to Lucia. I think
this book is important, not just for Catholics but for
everyone.”
