SAMM Minutes of 4-10-03 Meeting
It looks like Jamestown Room is our permanent meeting place on the second
Thursdays of the month. Jeff, Bernie, Herb and I viewed Gary Eichmeiers "A
Walk in Time" An excellent, well paced tour of Rome, Italy. We were also
treated to an untitled video of Jeff Thompson's look at a seldom seen area
of Mono Lake, California. Sandtuba, a kind of rock on the shore of the lake
covers almost an acre, and the hollows and varied shapes form an
architectural network that you have to see to believe. Jeff's video was
accompanied by a very melodious music produced by a friend of his.
We have received five orders for "A Night on the River." Erick Lorenz is
making additional copies. Good news, Sue is busy editing her son Michael's
wedding thanks to an initial computer clean up by Ashley Guy and the skills
of Herb Bennett who cured the schizophrenia between the sound and video and
then urging that the Millennium Windows version be installed. So far all is
working well.
The May meeting will be held in the Jamestown Room at Access Sacramento,
46th and T Streets on Thursday May 8, 7PM. I will attempt to get a speaker,
Eric Leas, if possible or if not, someone else. We should also decide on
shooting dates for the "Session."
See you in May
