I just received this e-mail today, 7-13-09. Either somebody's clock is set wrong or
their e-mail finally made it to the server.
A while back a friend and myself were shooting some photos at the cemetery on
Broadway and some gentleman came out and asked what we were doing. He told
us that we had to have a permit to shoot photos there, had to do with privacy. He
gave us some city address where we could get a permit. We were non-commercial.
We just packed up and left.
Just a head's up.
I would like to get involved with the group but have been so busy. I'm about to leave
for Cozumel, Mexico, one of my hobbies is u/w photography, still and video. I just
got new u/w video lights, have to try them out!

Thursday, July 10, 2009 is our monthly meeting at Coloma Community Center, 46th and T Streets in Sacramento, 7PM in the Jamestown Room. Thanks to Bernie and Florence, Rich and Dante Daprato are willing to play the roles of father and son in "The Midas Sack of Flour" They have received scripts and hopefully we can set a shooting date on a Saturday in the near future.
We are still debating where to shoot the script. At a local cemtary like Broadway, or drive to the rural cemetary in Stockton, or use a green screen in the Access Studio? Much depends on Erick Lorenz if we use the latter production site.
I am inviting Rich, Fran and Dante to this meeting. Unfortunately, I did not give them much advanced time to rearrange their schedules, so don't be surprised if they don't make it.
As usual, if you can't make the meeting, let us know. 392-0827 and if you have a DVD to show us please bring it along.
