May Meeting on Thursday 5-14-09 Coloma Coimmunity Center, 46th and T Streets, Jamestown Room, 7PM.
On Saturday 5-9-09 in the Access Sacramento Studio we re-recorded thecommentary for "ATime to Run" Thanks to Erick Lorenz ingenious tele-prompter and Duke McAdow's skillful handling of the equipment and his intelligent directing, plus Sheila Hirsch's attractive appearance and smooth delivery, I believe this version will make ATTR of interest to even more agencies and schools. Duke's sister, Ada, was also a big help. Bosko Ljubisavljevic also lent a helping hand.
Access Sacramento has just purchased a new tele-prompter with its $600 dollar plexiglass attachment. Ron Cooper tells me his tele-prompter utilizes a laptop feature which allows potential users to prepare their work at home and then bring the laptop to the studio and place it in the tele-prompter. This is a far better feature than having to rely on proprietary and expensive software, he said. This latter feature is part of Erick's excellent creation.
Ron Cooper has asked SAMM members for help on May 20, 2009 at which time they will be working with groups who are creating movies for the annual showing at the Crest Theater. It will also give us a chance to recruit actors, if we need them, for "TheMidas Sack of Flour." and future movies. More on that at the May meeting. .
Let us know if you can't be there. Thanks
