SAMMers:

Last Friday my casting call was published in the CFAA weekly
newsletter. Since then I have received several inquiries from
interested performers. Among them:

West Ramsey who looks good for Jack

Anthony D'Juan who could be our demon

Kat Monda who would like to be the heavenly guardian

There are also two other applicants both male who have not sent me
head shots who are possibilities for the roles of farmer and/or parent.

The three actors pictured above have extensive experience on stage
and screen and all express enthusiasm for the movie and a willingness
to work with SAMM. I want to interview all of them this week. I plan
to contact them and see if I can pull together a single time when we
can meet. I will keep the membership posted in case anyone else
wants to take part.

I am still working on the locations. The owners of Masonic Cave have
had some reservations about liability and the nature of our movie. I
think they are going to let us use it but if not I have one other
lead, The Black Diamond Mine in Antioch.

I also have a new idea for the principle titling of the movie. Carve
the title into a large pumpkin bit by bit and photograph the progress
to create a stop-action animation. Is anybody skilled at pumpkin
carving or know someone who is?
