May 10, 2007 is the second Thursday of the month and therefore our meeting night. As always,7PM Jamestown Room, Coloma School, 46th and T Streets. Sacramento. The agenda will include: locating a site for the interclub contest in the fall.. We found that the Belle Cooledge Community Center is a viable location with adequate space, a kitchen and easy access for visitors from the bay area. A second location at the former Casa los Ninos next to the Sacramento Children's Home on Sutterville Road near Franklin Blvd has the same advantages.
Thanks to Erick for updating us on the Filming For Fun Contest.
The saga of adding a Spanish Version to ATTR goes on. Enrique Ruiz will attempt to reclaim the script in both English and Spanish from his niece, Erika. I am making inquiries at Access Sacramento and other sources to see if this project can finally be completed.
In the past we have discussed holding a filming contest in order to advertise SAMM to the public by offering prizes to filming enthusiasts who would enter such a contest. Getting to know our club members and seeing our prize winners could be an excellent way of adding to our membership. Let's talk about that at the May meeting.
A progress report on the Legend of the Jack-o-Lantern production will be of interest to all.
Please pay your dues to Access Sacramento. The business office is open until 7PM on Thursdays.
Again many thanks for letting us know if you cannot make the meetings. Hope to see you all on the 10th.
