The July SAMM meeting will be held on 7-13-06 at 7:00 pm in the Jamestown Room
at Coloma School. Sue and I will be in AZ visiting the Grand Canyon on that
date and I have asked Erick if he will convene the meeting. Please bring your
current or former productions for other members to view and I'll reserve the
mobile cart for the meeting. An agenda item will be re the following
announcement, which was sent to all members on June 29. So far there are 2 votes
for The Switch, if the club decideds to enter the contest.

Associated Content, a publisher and provider of user-generated content, has just
launched a Summer Video contest. I’m hoping that you can share our contest with
Sacramento Amateur Movie/Video Makers members.

From now through July 31st, 2006, submit your original video clips or film
shorts to AC’s Summer Search for the Best User Created Video. The top 20 video
finalists will be determined by AC judges, then the AC Community will cast their
votes for which video is the best. If that’s you, you’ll get $500. (Nine
finalists will console themselves with $100 each).
