To this end I have acquired a Mac Powerbook G3. This laptop computer has a feature that subsequent ones do not, namely that it folds out flat. Thus it can be placed under a tele-prompter mirror and the keyboard will not get in the way. I already have the software, "Presentation Prompter", for displaying and scrolling the text. I just have to upgrade the memory on the Powerebook so that it will run Mac OS-X, a requirement for the software. I will look into sources for half-silvered mirror glass this week and see if I can get a prototype designed and built.

Erick has been experimenting with ways to use our own equipment to create a tele-prompter. Hopefully, he will bring us up to date on Thursday.
