Hi All-
If you're interested, the Pacific Edge Film Festival will be held on
May 26th and 27th, a Friday and Saturday. My video will be shown on
Saturday at 1:30pm in Jackson Hall (the main theatre) at the Mondavi
Center.
The ticket price is $20 for adults, or $30 for both days. The tickets
are an all-day pass to the screenings. Tickets can be purchased
online, but I'll bet plenty will be available on Saturday. More
information about the event, tickets, directions, etc. are available
at the Mondavi Center web site:

If I may...one quick correction to last meeting's minutes: the
Kamehameha Schools aren't being closed, rather they are being told
their 126 year old practice of giving Hawaiian children priority in
admissions is now illegal. It will effectively change the nature and
mission of the school. This was initiated by a lawsuit filed by the
parents of a non-Hawaiian child, based on a section of the US Civil
Rights Act of 1866 (while Hawaii was still an independent country).
It's hard for me to summarize such a complex situation, and it really
needs to be examined within an historical context. My video touches
on the lawsuit's spiritual and emotional impact on Hawaiian people.
