The script "The Fence" was distributed to those attending with the explanation that some of SAMM 's movies should be more ethnically diverse. There was general agreement on this point. Members were also encouraged to write their own scripts or submit ideas for movie plots. Erick Lorenz's friend will soon be submitting a script. It was agreed we need not limit ourselves to producing only one movie per year. In order to encourage more member participation those attending proposed that each of us record a five minute Thanksgiving movie, and perhaps another on Christmas, to be shown at the February 2006 meeting.
As several members mentioned again that they haven't been receiving the minutes or meeting notices this email is being sent individually (as a SAMM group) on a trial basis.
The December meeting will be held in the Jamestown Room, Thursday 12-8-05 7PM, Coloma School, 46th and T Streets, Sacramento. We will discuss scripts and have the pleasure of watching Jeff Thompson's vacation DVD. Bring your DVD's to share with your fellow members.
