SAMM Members
Nine members attended the October 2005 meeting held in the Jamestown Room at Access Sacramento, Coloma School 46th and T Streets. Our NCCAMC InterClub contest winner, "Moving Minnie" was projected on the large pull down screen which gave us a large, bright image of the movie. Erich answered a number of questions about the animated portion of the film, after which he presented certificates bearing a likeness of the trophy to those participating in making the movie. Erick then served refreshments which included a cake he made himself plus sparkling cider in plastic champagne glasses. Thanks and congratulations Erick on providing a fine celebration for all of us.
The matter of combining some of our films together with commentary to be broadcast on Access channels was mentioned as was the question regarding the capability of showing SAMM movies on our Web Site. Bernie will experiment and let us know how it turned out at the November meeting.
Finally, we learned last night that some members are not receiving attachments which are sent with the e-mails. We're experimenting with an attachment to this email ~ please let Sue know whether or not you receive this attachment.
Again congratulations to all who worked on "Moving Minnie." It was one of SAMM'S most "professional-looking" productions.
