Subject: Minutes of 5-13-04 Meeting

Sue White showed her thirty second segment about an acrobatic squirrel, demonstrating how digital editing can convert the camera man’s jitters into a steady-cam production and how to improve color in an out-door sunny situation. The second presentation "The Magic Cat" shown on a laptop, suffered from poor sound so that the comparison between the original and the re-edited digital result could not be demonstrated.

Discussions about how to attract more members and the club’s website resulted in several suggestions to be studied further.

The script entitled, "Uncovering the Enemy" will be our inter-club contest entry in September. Erick will incorporate several of his ideas into the present script with a view to making the video’s message more subtle, plus adding new communication techniques to increase the suspense.

A reminder that the June meeting will be held in the Gold Run Room on the 10^th, the second Thursday.
