One of Burtons better movies. To pimpprincess. Yes we wont ask too
much about you assumed name. We do try to welcome all new memebers
here but we may have missed a few, sorry if we have.
Well the latest sighting of the great man came on BBC1 Wales last
weekend. Over here we had a documentry about Anthony Hopkins. As we
know Burton came from the same area and was a huge influence on
Hopkins, we had some good shots of the master during the progamme.
Has anyone visited http://www.richardburton.com recently? It's been
revamped for the first time in the last four years to my certain
knowledge. This,I think that it's due, partly at least, to people
like us who have tried to keep the memory of the greatest Welsh
actor, alive and we all should feel rightly chuffed.
One thing to remember about Burton is that he hated being
called 'Dick or Dicky'. Both are very theatrical 'luvy' names and he
hated both. Instead he would call himself 'Rich'. So watchout for
that and you'll know it's wrong.
