Re: [RichardBurton] Re: Hi everybody!

and this from the telegraph this past spring

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/arts/main.jhtml?xml=/arts/2008/04/05/bomun105.xml

but again this Michael Munn fellow is the source - however, this was touched
upon in a Burton bio years ago that I read - I'm trying to recall the author -
btw Michael Munn's bio titled "Prince Of Players" - that title was used for a
bio of Edwin Booth [yes, older brother of you know who] - back in 1953 by
Eleanor Ruggles.

I don't know about this......I saw Burton many times towards the end
of his life on the Broadway stage. Would he take such a chance if
he had episodes such as this? And he was quite sober during these
periods. He did have one illness on stage during the 1980 Camelot
but audience members described it as a sort of a paleness and a
sweat that hit him. That was the only time I had ever heard of him
taking sick on the stage.
