This is a group to remember a lovely young girl and actress whose life was cut tragically short when she was killed by a deranged fan. Her name was Rebecca Schaeffer and in her brief 21 years, she won the hearts of tv and movie fans and her death still upsets those that loved her to this day. Her death did at least change the law-as a result stricter laws were passed so that DMV records could not be accessed easily as Rebecca's killer found out where she lived by accessing her DMV records via a P.I.

Anyway in this group the focus is mainly on Rebecca's life-she made movies in which she had supporting roles such as Class Struggle in Beverly Hills and The End of Innocence. On the very morning she was murdered, Rebecca was to auditon for The Godfather 3. Rebecca however is most remembered for her starring role alongside Pam Dawber in the tv series My Sister Sam. Rebecca's spunky, charming and energetic performance of a young teenage girl won over tv fans during its run as her acting in the show reflected Rebecca's natural charm and beauty and intelligence. In this group we shall celebrate the beauty and joy Rebecca gave us during her 21 years alive on earth. Her spirit still lingers in our hearts and minds and in this group we will pay tribute to it through photos, memories, articles and anything else we can think of to ensure that not only was Rebecca's death not forgotten but that her life and its accomplishments be remembered equally if not more.
