Oh, Joanie, I'm so glad you got to see this - and report to us! I
can just picture her singing "Here I Am" as she walked through the
audience. Pryceless (get it?).
A couple of folks who post at BroadwayWorld.com saw the show and
RAVED about Rachel. They liked Nita Whitaker, too, but you could
tell by their enthusiasm that Rachel really got to them in a big
way. One guy said that "I Dreamed a Dream" brought the house down.
They both absolutely adored her impressions of Liza and Julie and
her stories from Victor/Victoria. They also said that her
personality won the audience over immediately. Well, we know that!
Supposedly the Spotlight LA website will be posting photos, but so
far, nada.
Thank you thank you for filling us in. I soooo wish I could have
been there.
