Re: [Rachel_York_Fans] Upcoming Appearances

YES! It was fantastic!!!

Sold out even with pouring rain which in LA is a death sentence for most performances. I saw it on the second night. They had had one rehearsal and the performance the night before and it was better than a lot of shows I've seen that rehearse for months. Everyone was great. I wish it was going on to a regular performance. It's a shame to put such an inspired piece to bed so soon.

I got to meet the cast and they were all so nice and cool. Rachel of course was delightful and I heard several people come up to her and exclaim their surprise that she is not actually English. :)

Yay.

Hello, all,

More news from Rachel's website. See her Newsroom for details:

Saturday, Feb. 9 - Rachel is the featured performer for the San
Francisco Equality Awards at San Francisco City Hall. Black tie event.

Saturday, April 19, 7:30 p.m. - Rachel joins Susan Egan and Hugh Panaro
in concert with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra in Denver.

I also got word that The Odd Couple was a smashing success! Sold out
crowds loved everything about it. Did any of you LA fans happen to see
it? Do tell.

Cheers,

lc
