Gosh, this really is a great interview. Loved the Sound of Music
story, in particular. But the whole thing was wonderful. She's just
so warm and funny and smart.
Here's a link to another interview, this time on the LA NPR
affiliate, KPFK-FM 90.7, the Arts in Review program. It aired live
today (Thursday, Sept. 6) and will be in the station's web archives
for the next 89 days. They played four songs - well, three plus a
tease. The interviewer sounded truly enamored with Rachel's voice -
but of course!

Scroll down to Arts in Review to the appropriate date. Then
click "play" to listen or right-click "download" and hit "save target
as" to keep it on your computer.
Also, Rachel was interviewed by Leeza Gibbons this week. How cool is
that? Her segment will air via Westwood One on the syndicated radio
show, "Hollywood Confidential." I can't find a station list anywhere,
but I'm told it airs in LA this Sunday from 6-9 p.m. on KBIG-FM Radio
104.3. Rachel's segment is somewhere in the 7 p.m. time slot.
If any of you folks on the West Coast will be seeing Rachel's cabaret
at Sterling's Upstairs this Sunday, Sept. 9 or next Saturday, Sept.
15, please post your reviews. (Joanie, this means you!) :-)
