As much as I'd like to get out and get my drill back, and it probably would be easier with school and (hopefully) work closings, I don't think I'll be making it out. I'm sure I'll be soothing (more) aches from another day of shoveling.

Yep, my thoughts exactly. I don't see how I can move my stuff with all the
ice and snow on my steps and piled up in front of my garage, let alone all
the snow we're getting tomorrow.

Not going to make it this week again. I'm not sure I could safely get my
droid down the steps with all the ice anyway. Doh. Hopefully I'll get some
more done before Shevacon. :)

I dunno. I had considered leaving it. But I'm going for the clean shiny R2, from the end of EP IV.

But I am afraid that I might make it worse by trying to remove it.

I just got my lower center vent louvers to fit in the housing. But if I attach them to the rear back plate. they look too deep. See pic.
Is this right. Or do they need to come forward a lil bit more.

Also how can I get that scratch out?

The upper vent came out pretty good I think.

Thanks,
Oscar

CNC machine is sounding great! So when will it be able to crank out more
CNC machines? :)

Received a new wick for the Keroscene heater as well so Ed when you get a chance pick up a gallon of fuel.  Dale got the last one at Home depot and it was the clean burning stuff with little smell.

We get a limited amount of free pass's.  Thats why I try and get a solid list of who is coming and who is not.  We need to be able to make commitments to these events as far as what we will be presenting to get the free passes.

I believe they offered us 4 or 5 free passes this year.  The only people I know are coming for sure are:

Andy - Melanie
Pat - Alex
Ed
Dale - Family

that puts us over the 5 passes there.  We can work it out to one free pass per family (one per droid?) which will open it up to possibly one more builder ( Oscar, Blake?)  but again I need firm commitments from who is coming to the cons.

Things have changed a bit this year with Gina not being in charge of the fan area.  We had to submit a list of names for the limited amount of badges thay allowed each fan group.  Pat took care of this this year.

Hey Guys,
I still plan to make it to Shevacon this year. I can probably show up in the evening on Friday to do some setup if needed. Will most likely be there all day Saturday. Not sure about Sunday yet.
Should I just sign up for Saturday or will I need to be registered to help on Friday??\
As I said, I only have an unglued wooden frame, aluminum skins and a laser cut plastic dome. I would like to bring these if you think there would be room for them??? I would really like some advice on gluing up the frame.

Hey Andy,
I am going to try and attend at least part of the weekend. I only have a wooden frame, aluminum skins and a laser cut plastic dome. Nothing is assembled. I would like to bring my frame and get some direction in gluing it together as well as other general assembly directions.
