What up peeps.
I realize that it's a different thing to get someone else's reviews
here, but my "greeting" to this forum states "This is the place for
film aficionados to discuss movies in current theatrical release as
well as the classics.", and "Every visitor is encouraged to contribute
to the group, regardless of topic, although spammers will not be
tolerated."
As my site is about movies and specifically about reviews of movies, I
won't call his posts spam. It might be better etiquette to make an
introduction to the group prior to posting, but it's kind of a
free-for-all forum. As long as people stay on topic, I'm tolerant.
kaweenipon, if you;re reading this, the reason why you may have gotten
some backlash is due to the fact that the forum's set tone has been
fairly informal and the posted reviews are much more serious and, ad
Jen said, analytical. That's probably why they seem out of place to
us here. Perhaps you could break the ice by letting us know what made
you interested in writing reviews, and some of your favorite films.
I guess given that I've been lax to post stuff here, we should be glad
someone is taking initiative in my absence to keep discussion alive! ;)
