Definition:

Queer POC Video/Film Professionals is for People of Color in the Queer Transgender community who are or would like to be in the video, film and new media industries. Mainly behind the scenes. However, this DOES NOT mean performers are not welcomed. There will be open discussions on issues involving queers in the industry and the whole industry in general. Members will be allowed to post ads looking for crews and equipment, screenings and other events that pertain to the industry.

Any posting not pertaining to the industry will have to be approved by the moderator.

Queer POC Video/Film Professionals objective is to create a safe space for People of Color in the video, film and new media professions where members can network and have open discussions on race, gender and sexuality in the industries. Whether your genre is corporate, music videos, adult films, documentaries, short films, graphics, pod casting, internet or any television programming, you are more than welcome to participate. No one will be shut out. All that is asked is that everyone be respectful of one another and of one another's work.

Queer POC Video/Film Professionals is geared to be supportive of all Queer Transgender People of Color. If you identify as transgender, lesbian, bi, butch, queer, aggressive, he, she, hir, ze, they or use no pronoun at all, this group will be respective and supportive.

If anyone chooses to show disrespect in any way, they will automatically be removed from the group.
