If you read the treatment for Battle on Hunter's site
(http://www.goatley.com/pota/scripts/pota_epic_treatment.pdf) it
makes it clear that the Ape City in Battle is the same Ape City from
Planet. So it is safe to presume that Battle took place on the East
Coast.
