Agreed! And that's why all of you need to WRITE IN and REQUEST THIS STUFF!!!!
I posted a "form letter" here awhile back which all of you are free to copy
and SEND IN. They're not going to know that people want this stuff if no one
requests it, so drop them a letter.

Agreed again. Unfortunately, J. Lee Thompson has passed away, but Frank Capra
Jr. is still alive, and I think commentary by him on ESCAPE, CONQUEST, and
BATTLE would be great to have.
As far as CONQUEST, from what I know, "most" of the original ending IS there
(it was to end at "...And that day is upon you now!" with the screen going to
black and Apes howling, grunting, etc. and THE END coming up on the screen. It
was only after they (the test audiences) cried about the films dark tone,
violence, etc. that they added the bullsh*t ending speech to it. And yes, it
would be great if they ever did release the film in it's original form, complete
with the original score intact as well. Having the complete score in there
alone makes for a better film.
