Showing in tribute to the late, great Jack Cardiff, this is simply one
of the most visually ravishing films ever made in colour. Shot entirely
on sets in Pinewood, it reveals an isolated Himalayan convent where the
nuns are driven mad by the sensuality of their surroundings.
New 35mm print.
