Continued from previous message. Speaking of taping movies off TV.
Recently I lucked out and taped Peter's film "Togetherness" (1970)
off one of our local TV channels. It is cut up with commercials, but
I don't care. I've spent years trying to find this movie. So I used
both of my VCRs to make sure it would tape right. I know I'am crazy,
but I really wanted this film. Peter plays a millionaire who lives on
a yacht. It is a stylish comedy filmed in Greece. Peter is simply too
smooth for words. Almost as smooth as his character Christopher
Pepper in "Salt and Pepper". Is this movie good? "Salt and Pepper" is
a must for all Lawford fans hands down. Hip, stylish, groovy and of
course swinging! What else would you expect from a Chrislaw
Production. Peter and his "celebrated cool" are simply beyond. After
watching this movie I don't know how any woman in her right mind
could divorce or dump Peter Lawford. Glad it is high on your list of
wants. The sequel "One More Time" is almost as good. Both are
available from RTS. One time I saw "Salt and Pepper" listed in the
TCM magazine Now Playing. You never know it could be on again. I
don't know if I could wait though. Anyway, have fun taping and
collecting. See Ya, Lisa PS: One TV movie I am trying to find is
How I Spent My Summer Vacation, starring Robert Wagner & PL. If you
come acrossed it please let me know. Thanks.
