Hi Tara. Trying to find Peter in some of his early movies is like
trying to find Waldo. I bet I must have watched Random Harvest and
Above Suspicion a dozen times before I found him in them. Never did
find him in Assignment in Brittany (1943) and Corvette K-225 (1943).
If you look very closely, don't blink, you'll see Peter in Sahara.
The end of the movie the German troops are walking in a bunch with
British soldiers on the outside of them. With a tank in the
background you'll see the side of Peter's head wearing a helmet
walking across the bottom of the screen. Thats it. In Girl Crazy,
Peter is one of the young cowboys reading the posted note on the
porch. He even has a line.Note the slight British twang. In Ziegfeld
Follies the scene Peter was in was cut from the movie.Read that in
Classic Images. So they only used his voice on the telephone.I don't
have this movie yet.Not having TCM is the worst.I've had to buy
everything. You are so lucky to be able tape these movies off TV.I
sent away to RTS for a list of PL's films they have available. The
films I could not get from Movies Unlimited I got from RTS.The other
really rare films like The Purple V,Assignment in Brittany and Paris
After Dark I got from Jim Bernard,1411 Hamilton
St.#6A,Allentown,PA.18102 and some I taped off TV. Cont....Lisa
