Hi Lisa:
Yes, I've recorded Two Sisters From Boston. I loved it too. Did you
actually see Peter in Sahara? I couldn't find him. What roles did he play
in Girl Crazy and Ziegeld Follies? I recently recorded Rogues March and
Mrs. Parkington. I have James Spada's book, and I remebered the section he
wrote about Harlow. I had forgotten about The Red Danube. I recorded that
off of TCM, too. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have TCM. I
don't see how you got so many movies! Besides Sergeant's Three, another
movie high on my want list is Salt and Pepper. I bet you have that one too.
Is it any good? Talk to you later.
Tara

>Hi Tara. As you know I can't get TCM where I live. So I have a
>subscription to TCM's monthly magazine "Now Playing". In March they
>showed the following PL movies: Mrs. Miniver, Mrs. Parkington and
>Random Harvest. In April, Girl Crazy, Rogues March, Sahara and
>Ziegfeld Follies. This month, May, watch for Two Sisters From Boston
>and Ziegfeld Follies. I found this website http://us.imdb.com/Name?
>Lawford,+Peter .I think it is the best detailed list of Peter's films
>and a few of his TV appearances that I have found to date. Click the
>blue lettering to read about each movie. You can use this list to
>find many of Peter's films that you may not know of. One film not on
>list is "Johnny Cool". PL ex-producer. Available from RTS. On TCM,
>May 13th the movie Two Sisters From Boston will be on. Have you ever
>seen it? One of my favorites. Regarding Peter in Harlow...EXCELLENT!
>Ditto. Did you read in the Spada book about the scene that was cut
>out of Harlow? Another film where PL had to cry was The Red Danube.
>Great! Available from RTS. Do I have Sergeants Three? Yes.I placed an
>ad in the magazines Films of the Golden Age and Classic Images. Check
>out www.classicimages.com/ .Someone saw my ad and sold me the tape.
>It is a copy of a tape. Poor quality, beggars can't be choosers. On
>that note I'll let you go. See Ya, Lisa
