Hi Lisa:
I wish that I had a Movies Unlimited near me. I have the Dear Phoebe
Christmas episode that you mentioned. I finally got my copy of Harlow in
yesterday. I thought that Peter's role in it would be bigger. Anyway, I
thought his performance was EXCELLENT! It was so touching to see him cry in
his last scene in the movie. I've been meaning to ask you if you have
Sergeant's Three? I can't find it on any internet sites. I'm gradually
starting to increase my movie collection. I wish that TCM would show more
of Peter's rare movies. They usually just show Easter Parade, Ocean's 11,
Little Women, etc. Not that I don't think those are great movies, but you
know what I mean. Talk to you later.
Tara

>Hi Tara. Found a great book entitled "Buyer's Guide to Fifty Years of
>TV on Video" c 1999, by Sam Frank. In it I read about the video "Judy
>Garland's Hollywood". Then I checked my Movies Unlimited catalog and
>it was there. Luckily, I have a Movies Unlimited video store a my
>area. Saves me on delivery charges. Also in the "Buyer's Guide.." I
>found another video that I had never heard of before. Peter made a
>guest appearance as himself in the Bob Cummings comedy sitcom "Love
>That Bob":The Beauty Contest episode 1958. Although Peter is only in
>the last scene it is worth the wait. The video quality is very good.
>I ordered it from Shokus Video. I was able to get one episode of Dear
>Phoebe from Shokus Video. It's the Christmas show. Is that the show
>you have? From Movies Unlimited I found a different Dear Phoebe. It
>is about Humphrey and the will to win. Good quality print also. I
>wrote to RTS and asked them to do a Dear Phoebe search for me. But,
>no luck. Regarding what you said about what peoples opinions of Peter
>are. I know where you are coming from. My husband and his best friend
>are fans of macho actors Frank Sinatra, John Garfield, Kirk Douglas
>and Arnold S. Please don't ask me to repeat what they think of Peter.
>I'll take a beautiful, suave, soft spoken gentleman anyday. I think
>most women would agree with me. Take care, Lisa
