Hi Lisa,
I haven't seen Peter in very many of his television appearances, besides The
Thin Man. I would love to collect more episodes of The Thin Man. I have
the video "Frank Sinatra and His Fabulous Rat Pack," and it shows Peter and
Sammy doing their dance routine on Frank's TV special when Elvis returned.
Other than that, I haven't seen anything else of Peter regarding television.
No, I haven't seen the movies you mentioned with his mother and father.
Do you have the A&E special "The Rat Pack?" It's very interesting. It
doesn't show quite as much about Peter as I'd like (shows the most about
Frank, of course). Some of the stuff is just plain gossip. It does show
some nice footage of his wedding to Patricia Kennedy and some of his night
club act with Jimmy Durante in Las Vegas in the early 50s. Of course, it
has footage of the Rat Pack's Summit Meeting in Vegas in 1960. Check it out
if you haven't seen it.
Talk to you later,
Tara
P.S. Thanks for telling me about the Phylis Kirk interview. I also found
it very insightful.
