I have to agree. It looks nice enough, although it only vaguely resembles any of
the blouses worn by Beckinsale (I counted at least three different embroidery
designs over the course of the film). But if you can make your own and you have
the time to do so, regardless of whether or not exact authenticity is important
to you, then you're probably better off making your own and saving yourself some
money to use for the rest of your costume. :)

Having seen it in person at the FIDM exhibit, it was definitely hand embroidery.
It looked like some of the heavier-weight parts of the design (bullion
embroidery, I think) might have been embroidered onto a backing fabric and then
sewn to the gown.
