Hi,

I was installing new RAM memory on my computer late Christmas night. Either the
chip was defective or it is not compatible for my machine (although everything
says it is). My machine would turn off and error messages kept appearing. I
finally called IBM for my computer because I couldn't get through the free
installation hotline for the PNY memory I bought. I got busy signals and
hangups all day. They said leave a message, I did, in the late morning. I
still haven't heard back. I think they closed about 6 Chicago time. anyway, I
used my Go Back and my Config Safe programs which set my computer back the way
it was before I installed the memory (I had to remove the chip as well). That
means I lost all email after 9:35 pm Christmas Day evening. If there was
anything I should know about, can someone forward it to me. I' m not sure if I
got all the mailing lists I receive mail from.
