ANDY NEWS & APPEARANCES:

Filming for "S*x & Drugs & Rock & Roll" about 1970s rock star Ian Dury is underway. Andy has re-recorded 12 of Dury's songs with the singer's former band The Blockheads. Film is due for release on 26th March 2010 and also stars Ray Winstone as Dury's father, Naomie Watts as Dury's girlfriend and Mackenzie Crook.

It has been officially confirmed by Guillermo del Toro that Andy will be returning to play Gollum in "The Hobbit". Del Toro revealed the casting news on Simon Mayo's BBC radio show; Ian McKellen will return as Gandalf and Hugo Weaving as Elrond.

'The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn' (film) - principle photography is now completed.
