Presenting short films of all types... horror, thriller, comedy,
drama, dark comedy, & documentary films, produced by filmmakers from
around the world. This year's festival will also feature 11 films
from Louisiana filmmakers.

filmmakers will be in attendance (both local and from around the

Friday, November 7th
72 HOUR FILM CONTEST Starting Friday Night at 8 PM, through Monday
Night at 8PM
Filmmakers will have to WRITE, SHOOT, EDIT, and FINISH a short film.

Teams of 2 will enter (entry fee required)but can utilize as many
people as they can con into working on their film. The contest will
present 2 CASH AWARDS (Judges Award, Audience Award) splitting the
entire total submitted entry fees. Plus, ALL films will screen at
this year's Big Easy Shorts Festival!
