Zeitgeist Mutlti-disciplinary Arts Center Founder/Director Rene Broussard will be curating a traveling Festival of films which explore any and all issues pertaining to Children's rights including but limited to child abuse, neglect, foster care, juvenile justice, child labor, corporal punishment, adoption, child prostitution, trafficking, slavery, age of consent, molestation, education, health care, refugees, autism, disabilities, race, gender, gay youth, immigration, etc.
Films and videos in all genres and length are eligible. Children must be the subject, but not necessarily the intended audience. In other words films may be appropriate for either children or adult audiences in language and content. Narrative, documentary, experimental or animation.
There is no entry fee. Artists whose works are selected will be paid a modest rental fee for all touring engagements. Formats: DVCAM, mini-DV, DVD (all regions) or vhs (ntsc or pal).
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS:
Must be post marked or hand delivered by September 15, 2008

In conjunction with the International Rights of the Child Film Festival
Zeitgeist is also seeking submissions for a group photography exhibition that will on display in our gallery from November 14 through December 31, 2008.
The exhibition will be presented in conjunction with the New Orleans Photo Alliance's PhotoNOLA, a citywide celebration of photography now in it's third year.
There is no entry fee. Photographs may be submitted via internet to zte@... or contact sheets, slides or prints to the address listed above. Deadline for submissions is September 15, 2008.
