Does anyone remember the lively TV movie "THE MIDNIGHT HOUR" (1985)? This
movie was 100% inspired by the huge success of the Michael Jackson's
THRILLER video and has a similar premise and sense of fun. Probably the best
scene in the movie is Scene 15--"Zombie Rock" in which Shari Belfonte-Harper
sings "I'm Dead, You're Dying" while all of the characters (in appropriate
monster make-up) sing and dance along. I'll quote from the DVD box: "When
teenagers unleash an ancient witch's curse...the dead return to liven up
Halloween!" This OOP print DVD sells for big bucks on Amazon. Hopefully, it
will be re-issued one of these days. It seems that with all of these OOP
DVD's that there is always a "special edition" release just around the
corner:
