A great big Horrible thank you to everyone who came out to the Dr. Horrible
screening on Friday night!
 
We had a packed house, standing room only! Folks mingled, laughed, and sang
along with the blog. Some got to see Commentary! The Musical for the first time.
We even had a Captain Hammer and some groupies. It was a great night!
 
Now it's just two weeks until the main Philadelphia Can't Stop the Serenity
event on June 27!
 
We've got an exciting evening planned for you. Put on your pretties, your
brown coats, your Jayne hats, and come shindig with some fellow flans.
 
Activities include:
 
Terrifying Space Monkeys - Our special guests will perform songs inspired by
Serenity and Firefly.
 
Whedonverse quizzo - Join a team, test your knowledge of all things 'Versey, and
maybe you'll win a fun prize pack.
 
Costume Contest - Will you be the cutest Kaylee, the toughest Jayne, or are you
more of a Reaver at heart? Maybe you'll win a prize for your Serenity/Firefly
inspired costume.
 
Raffle & Door prize drawings - We have gotten some very shiny donations this
year. From autographed memorabilia to handmade Browncoaty goods, who knows what
you may take home!
 
Serenity - Of course. You can't stop the signal! We'll be showing the "Big Damn
Movie" in the auditorium projected from BlueRay onto our big damn screen. :)
